29. Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand

 For wildlife lovers,  Jim Corbett is a go-to destination. It is known for its Tiger Conservation Project and is home to the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger. Jim Corbett is one of the best places to visit in December as well as January in India. Besides this, it is also home to varieties of rare and endangered species of wildlife, reptiles, and birds.

How to Reach:

Air: This is not an ideal mode of transport to reach Corbett. Patanagar airport is the nearest domestic airport.

Train: The nearest railhead from Jim Corbett is Ramnagar, connected to major destinations such as Delhi Haridwar, Lucknow, and Varanasi.

Road: Corbett is well-connected via Ramnagar by bus. There are daily buses from Delhi, Haridwar, and Nainital to Ramnagar.

Things to Do: You have to experience the wildlife safari in Jim Corbett.

30. Chadar Trek, Ladakh
