Delhi full day tour is a perfect introduction to the National Capital of India, Delhi. Known for its diversity and history, Delhi is famously divided into two parts i.e. Old Delhi and New Delhi with each location telling a thousand stories of the past and continuing to influence the present with its rich history. Get ready to experience Delhi like never before with a local as we introduce you to the city, its culture, and the most famous monuments on this tour!
Get ready for a day full of adventure as you explore the highlights of the National Capital of India. On this tour, you will cover the three famous UNESCO heritage monuments in Delhi: Red Fort, Humayun’s tomb, and Qutub Minar. These monuments are not only the majestically huge forts adorning the city of Delhi but also mark huge importance in the historical timeline. Qutub Minar, the 11th-century minaret marks the rise of Islamic rule in Delhi while Humayun’s tomb was built by the wife of the second Mughal emperor to India, Humayun who died an untimely death at the age of 47. Red Fort captured by the British in the 19th century became a silent spectator of the dawn of the Mughal empire with the last Mughal sent on exile to Burma and thus began the British rule in India!
While exploring this mesmerizing city, walk around the alleys exploring Old Delhi built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan during the 17th century, and drive past India Gate and President’s House of India to witness the grandeur of the British era in Delhi.
